I have a long history of back issues, including scoliosis, and have to admit I was skeptical when I first went to see Dr. Katie. I have always gone to traditional medical doctors, and had never been to any chiropractor, let alone one who practices Dr. Katie’s method. The first day she did a scan to show the tension in my back at different points and took pictures of my posture. I knew it wasn’t going to be great, but I was surprised at how bad both the tension and my posture actually were. I saw Dr. Katie for 3 months, and didn’t know if I’d see any improvement in that time. I did enjoy my sessions, as I came out of every one feeling more relaxed and sitting and standing taller. Her gentle technique was very calming, and gave me more of an awareness of what was happening in my body. After the last session she did another scan, and I was really impressed with how much of a change there has been. The muscle tension was greatly decreased, and the work that my muscles were doing had evened out on either side of my back. I was definitely happy with the results for such a short amount of time that I saw her. I would recommend Dr. Katie to everyone looking for a way to reduce the effects of stress on their body, and come out feeling relaxed and refreshed.
