Lindsay H. has been under care with Dr. Katie since January 2016

Why I came to New Day:

I heard about New Day and Network Care from my friend and collaborator, Carrie Drapac, who is my co-creatrix at Acts of Ritual. Carrie gave me an overview on the practice, and it was the information that related to the nervous system that attracted me at the time. I was at the beginning stages of going in a layer deeper in my healing at that time. I had been in many healing practices but I was coming more into my body and from what I had heard it seemed like this care was a good thing to try!

My chiropractic results:

After getting going in the practice of receiving and being in care I definitely had more awareness in my nervous system. I was connecting deeper into my body and where I was holding emotions and discomfort. It was a slow process of unfolding new information, and uncovering things a little bit at a time.

Having a felt sense of the nervous system, and not just an academic idea of it, was really helpful for me as I translated and related the care in my life, and in the way I related deeper to the people I serve as a healer.

I came into care with an interdisciplinary understanding of the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of healing –  all elements create a fabric together – but being in this practice helped me connect them more fully. Learning what I am feeling, and not just what I am knowing – was really important! This care helps me continue to bridge the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of my being. Each piece [physical, emotional and spiritual] informs the other, and when these are all working together, in tandem, our bodies work more efficiently. This care helped me build a heightened awareness.

Why I continue my care with Dr. Katie:

At this point, I see Network Care as one part of my overarching self-care plan.  To me the most important thing I can do is to work on building myself — and putting myself and my evolution at the center of all that I do. Continuing this care with Dr. Katie helps me practice utilizing my tools of healing to stay focused on my evolution. This care is a piece of that puzzle.
