We got the good news this week that a case study detailing the improvements in posture of a geriatric patient under NSA care has now been published in the Annals of Vertebral Subluxation Research.
This article is extremely important for two reasons. First, it shows that it is possible for someone, no matter their age, to create a huge, life-changing re-orgainization in one’s body through ongoing spinal care. Second, it demonstrates that low-force, wellness centered care addresses structural misalignments of the bones of the spine. Where an approach centered on “fixing” would go to those misaligned vertebra and forcibly try to re-align them, we instead focus on the overall wellness and ease of the spine, and let the body do the rest. The approach used in NSA care and other wellness-centered forms of chiropractic allows the organizing wisdom within the body to flow more effectively.
