Trust Issues?

Good day to you, New Day!

New Day is almost 4 years old!!  Can you believe it??

Thinking back on the 4 years I’ve had in practice, one of the many things I feel is gratitude for the TRUST you have placed in us.  It’s not always easy.  According to a recent article in Psychology Today,

“It’s become more and more difficult to remain vulnerable, trusting, and open to life in this era of uncertainty, global upheaval, divorce, and disrupted family life.” They also report that, “A number of psychologists recently reported that, over the past 10 years, there has been an unprecedented rise in trust issues among couples who seek counseling.”

When I consider what it is to trust in the world today, it amazes me to think that 4 years ago when some of you met a woman fresh out of chiropractic school, who was talking about a form of chiropractic few have ever heard of, and having apparently put what little resources she had into an office in which she worked alone with no help, that some of you decided, “I should give this a shot!”

Over the months and years that followed, and the office underwent a great many improvements in care, efficiency, and service, I still never lost an appreciation that you are trusting us with something very important and personal.  In addition to being in an era of “global upheaval, uncertainty, divorce, and disrupted family life,” we are also in an era when we are often dazzled to the point of paralysis by the number of choices available.  A potential customer on the market today for the types of benefits Network Spinal Analysis offers most likely perceives an innumerable, ever expanding array of possibilities.

And yet, as the ever expanding array of INFORMATION about all the things we could and should be doing floods our awarenesses, there seems to be less and less KNOWLEDGE than ever. When we don’t commit, or don’t continue to commit, it’s because we don’t trust.  When we don’t trust others, what we really aren’t trusting is ourselves.  We’ve made bad decisions in the past and spent money on things that didn’t help.  We’ve put our trust in people we wish we hadn’t.  We don’t have a knowing, that is more than intellectual, that our bodies are smart and want to get better, and that we are being guided toward something that will help our bodies express health on a fundamental, cellular level.

I credit the experiences you have had of this amazing care with helping you bypass whatever trust issues or analysis paralysis you may have had 🙂  I also credit Amber, Diane, and everyone else who has worked for me over these years for helping create such an amazing energy in our office, so that you can know that you are cared for immediately.

As we pass our 4th birthday as a practice and a community, you will notice that we have revised and revamped our pricing and careplans in a way that encourages you to benefit from care for your spine and nervous system in the way that it works best– consistently and over time.  We have increased our prices (for the first time in 2 years), but are doing so in such a way as to impact you less the more regularly you use our care.  The cost effectiveness of chiropractic care has been well documented, and is one of the smartest investments you can make.  I thank you and have much appreciation for you for continuing to trust us with your wellness.

When was the last time you overcame a trust issue and the reaped the benefits?  With our care, or something else?  We’d love to read your comments!
